BioMath-Workshop

The recent advances in molecular biology and medicine bring along an evergrowing quality and amount of experimental data. The challenge of their interpretation and integration into predictive models is probably best met at the interface of computational and biomedical research. Vienna offers an ideal environment to join the forces of life science, applied mathematics, and bioinformatics.
At the initiative of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, CeMM and RICAM will host a one day workshop to stimulate interdisciplinary research activities among Viennese scientists working in the areas of molecular biology, medicine and mathematics. Invited presentations will set the stage for lively discussions and networking among a broader audience to be continued during a poster session and a shared dinner.
