Usage of Modular Techniques for Efficient Computation of Ideal Operations

Modular techniques are widely applied to various algebraic computations. In this talk, we discuss how modular techniques are efficiently applied to computation of various ideal operations such as Groebner base computation and ideal decompositions. The most important notions on modular techniques are "luckiness" of primes and "correctness check" of the computed results by modular techniques. We mainly concentrate on these two notions.
