Topics

In our workshop, we will focus (but don't restrict ourselves) on problems arising in the field of approximation theory, CAGD, numerical analysis, mathematical modeling, symbolic computation, multivariate interpolation, PDEs, orthogonal polynomials and special functions.

The primary objective of the meeting is to bring together scientists from Bulgaria and Austria working in the field of Approximation Theory, CAGD, Numerical Analysis and Symbolic Computation. Among the goals of the workshop is the stimulation of new research cooperations which would lead to novel results. We expect free exchange of ideas and results to inspire further development in the fields and motivate new research directions in computational and applied mathematics.

The international workshop will take place at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, in the RICAM Seminar Room S2 416.

The room is located in Science Park Building 2 on the 4th floor. Please refer to the map of the campus for the location of the Science Park.

There is no registration fee.

Hotel Sommerhaus, located in Raab Heim student dormitory, closest to workshop venue. Single room €55, double room €82, includes breakfast. Reduced price available for participants, please contact the organizers!
